Let’s talk

Tell us the number and how you run Sundays.

Thirty days free on every band. No card, and nothing to cancel.

Every band includes every feature. There is no upgrade to buy.

Never per seat — add every member without the bill moving.

Children don’t count toward the band.

The questions churches actually ask

How does the thirty days free work?

You get a full month with your own church’s data in it, every feature switched on, before you pay anything. There is no card to enter and no clock that starts the moment you click — the thirty days begin once your church is set up and you can actually use it. If you decide against it, tell us and nothing is charged; your data exports to CSV on the way out either way.

How do you decide which band we’re in?

Your usual Sunday attendance, adults and teenagers. Not your membership roll, not your database size, and not children. If you’re near a boundary, you’re in the lower band until it’s clearly wrong.

We run two services in two languages. Is that two accounts?

No — one church, one price, whichever band you are in. English at nine and Mandarin at eleven are two services with their own rotas, their own teams and their own check-in, but one people list, so a family that moves between them is not two records. Attendance is recorded per service, so the two stay separate in the numbers.

Do we have to use all of it?

No, and we would rather you didn’t at first. Start with your people and one rota, add attendance once that is running, and bring your small groups across after it. Leave children’s check-in, events, rooms and forms until someone asks for them. The price is the same either way, so there is nothing to gain by switching everything on in week one.

What happens if you stop building this?

Every record you put in comes back out: people, attendance, giving and the children’s register all export to CSV from inside the app, without asking us. There is no contract to exit and no data held hostage — and our terms commit us to at least 90 days’ written notice and a complete export before the service is withdrawn.

We collect by DuitNow QR and bank transfer. Does that work?

Yes, because ChapelHQ never touches the money. It records gifts your church has already received — by fund and method — and produces each member’s statement. Keep collecting exactly as you do now.

Can we get our data out?

Full CSV export of people, attendance, giving and the children’s register, from inside the app, whenever you want it. No ticket, no request to us.

Who can see giving records?

Church administrators only. Staff accounts cannot see finances at all, and that is enforced at the action layer rather than by hiding a menu item. Members can see their own giving in the portal.

We already use spreadsheets. Is moving painful?

Less painful than churches expect. The importer reads the Excel or CSV file you already keep — a single “Name” column is enough — then previews every row before it saves anything: families grouped into households from your Family column, anyone whose email address is already in the directory flagged, bad email addresses kept rather than dropping the person. If a batch still comes out wrong, one button takes the whole import back out. And if you would rather not do it yourself, send us the file and we will.

Do our members need to install an app?

No. They tap a link in their email and they’re in — no password to set or forget. If they want it to feel like an app they add it to their home screen.

Where is our data stored, and under whose law?

Under Malaysian law, handled under the PDPA, by a company in your time zone. The technical detail is here.

Tell us about your Sundays.

How many people, how many services, and which part of the admin takes the most time. A person reads every enquiry, and replies within three working days.
